Laura Tagawa Violin Studio
Tucson, Arizona

Weekly private violin lessons are offered at my home teaching studio which is located in Central Tucson. 30, 45, and 60 minute lessons are available. Suzuki (younger students with parent involvement) and Traditional (older students with less parent involvement) lessons are offered.

Student recitals are held twice a year and students are encouraged to participate in school orchestras, area youth orchestras, and summer camps. Suzuki students are encouraged to participate in bi-monthly Suzuki group classes. Additional performance opportunities are encouraged such as participation in ASTA Certificate of Advancement Program.

Getting Started (Info for Beginners):
There are two options for getting a violin, purchasing or renting. If you decide to purchase, please have the instructor recommend the correct size violin (violins come in fractional sizes ranging from  1/16 – 4/4). Rental programs are available through local music stores and many will apply a portion of the rental credit towards purchase. The instructor will recommend local stores which have rental programs. A violin outfit includes a violin, bow and rosin.
